Heaven is the 888th xkcd comic.
Tetris is a Russian-invented puzzle game in which the player must rotate oddly shaped falling blocks into a seamless wall. Any time a complete line is made with no gaps, this is removed and the player gets points, more points for more lines made at one time. If the wall reaches the top of the screen, the player loses, and over time, the pieces fall faster and faster until the player can no longer keep up. The blocks often form awkward shapes, as the shape of the particular piece that falls next is random. All the shapes are made of exactly four blocks, hence the "tetra" part of the name.
Here the player has an awkward gap, and an extremely odd piece (much larger than the ones that actually appear in the game), which allows him to clear the entire board, earning lots and lots of points, as it exactly fills the awkward gap. The player then has a completely empty screen to work from, which is the easiest possible state.
